Cassi is a beautiful husky mix (3yo & 65lbs) who was adopted from a shelter in Denver by our son. His current job isn't conducive to keeping her, so my husband and I thought we could try to keep her. We have 2 old cats who aren't willing to share their space and all Cassi wants to do is play with them. She is a sweetheart. She loves belly rubs! She is cautious with new people but she is loyal and bonds. She has not been socialized with other dogs but it seems like she would love to play with other dogs. She barks protectively when someone is at the front door and sometimes with larger dogs on walks. She loves to go on walks and smell everything. She loves to play with her stuffies. She sleeps in her own bed but prefers to be near someone. Otherwise she'll sleep by the front door (protectively). She is well trained, there has never been a bathroom accident. When she was adopted in Denver the shelter indicated that she had a rough time living on the streets as she has some cracked back teeth. My husband and I have never owned a dog, and we are not able to give this sweet girl what she needs. She needs someone who knows how to care for a husky and who can give her the attention she deserves. She really is a sweet girl. Please send a message if you would like to see more photos.
