Little Laylabelle has had quite a week! She was brought to the NYC Animal Care Centers in a shopping cart when her family was evicted, and as sad as it is to think she was separated from her family, it actually saved her life. She was found to have pyometra and the ACC spayed her to remove the infection before she came to Wayward Ranch to a foster home. Layla has been very shut down and scared, but even so is nothing but gentle, sweet, and trusting with the people she interacts with. We are hoping to find her a quiet and loving home to give her the time she needs to come out of her shell and thrive. She is healing well from her spay surgery but does have an umbilical hernia we will be correcting before she can be adopted, however she is now accepting applications at waywardranch.org!
