Nuca is a sweet brown mini aussie, she can bit little standoffish with strangers but warms up quick after a treat. She's full of energy so an active adult that can train/keep up is good - but she is also happy to chill out on the couch or under your chair when working most of the day! NO children however, we are unsure on cats, she may do best in a home without other dogs or at least dogs that are not too dominant, she's snapped at other dogs who came into her personal space, she may need a slow introduction regardless. A home with a small yard would be most ideal, Nuca needs more leash training but was crate trained at 1 years old though she is allowed to roam the house since we work from home, and travels well in a car. Groomer has had no issues with her.Nuca is an indoor dog, so I have no idea how she will react in a ranch/barnyard environment. Nuca has anxious behavior that is exacerbated when her sister herds her or by another aggressive dominant dog. She likes chew toys and running around crazy in the back yard! She hates cleaning supplies like vacuums or brooms and WILL nip. They do have a barking issue when unattended but that may be from social anxiety/boredom. Ideal home for her would be a house with a small yard with dog door access, an adult who works mostly from home. Her food bowls, couple of toys, brand of dry kibble, and contact/information on her usual vet/groomer will be provided upon approval for adoption. IF for some reason she does not work out, PLEASE return her to us and there will be a refund for the initial adoption fee, do not leave her at a shelter! Details on your living situation will be asked for, must have your own transportation, etc.
