About Buddy

Buddy is a beautiful 55 pound, soon to be 5 year old Australian Kelpie. Chipped. He is very smart, loving, vocally expressive (including almost a bird like whistle), and enthusiastic. Loves to cuddle and will even sleep with you if you are inclined. He asks first very sweetly. He loves to meet new people and dogs. He loves to play with our other dog. They can be seen mouthing each other. He shows appreciation for his food and loves a bully stick and a toy or two. Needs a walk and dog play. Leash and crate trained. Enjoys his crate when he wants quiet. Loves car rides. He is definitely a prey animal loves to chase squirrels and bunnies and looks longingly at the sheep in the pasture, but we don't think he has any training to work with livestock. Gets so focused. Has learned simple commands and we are working on him putting his toys away. Teaching him not to pull and not to jump on people still needs work. A beautiful dog! Lots of fun!
