About BLACKIE

Our friends found poor BLACKIE (who we named) wandering around their neighborhood. No one knew his owner. When our officer friends at L.A. Animal Control looked up his microchip, the owners' phone number was out of service and they no longer lived at that address. BLACKIE was either abandoned and turned loose, or dumped more than 8 miles from his original home, and was very hungry and thirsty and didn't want to get out of the car until we lured him with food and water. He seems very lost and confused about what happened. BLACKIE looks to be around 8 years old, looks in good shape, is neutered, but he is homeless. Please consider adopting an adult/senior pup, so you can make his golden years his happiest ones. We are out of spaces to put him so are also looking for a foster home for BLACKIE.
