About Bruce

Hi! My name is Bruce and I'm looking for my forever home. Due to an unforeseen change in my parents WFH schedule, they have to make the hardest decision to rehome me. I am a rat terrier/chihuahua mix, almost 5 months old, and 15 pounds. My parents love me more than anything and have worked hard on my training so far! I am SUPER food motivated and smart, so training me is easy. Here is everything I know: -Commands: sit, down, stay, handshake, dance, come, crate -Working on: walk (heel), drop, off -I'm potty trained and ring a bell on the door when I need to go outside -I sleep completely through the night, but I like to cry in the morning when I wake up around 6:30/7AM until my mommy gets me up I love people almost as much as I love food! I get very excited and like to jump on them when I first meet them before I calm down. My parents also just started me in doggy daycare and I passed my evaluation to be around other dogs but I'm still a bit shy since I haven't been around them a lot. Overall I'm medium energy (but don't forget I'm still a puppy that likes to play!). My favorite games are fetch, tug of war, and getting chased. After I'm done playing I love to cuddle. My parents recommend me to a home with adults without young kids because although I LOVE people, I am still just a puppy who is still nippy/bitey at times since I'm still teething. With more time and training there would be no issue to be around kids, they just want to be safe and make sure I end up in the best fitting home right now!
