About HAL

HAL here (Hal-acious 'D') is a young (7 mos), active pug mix who is still waiting to add some love, laughter and goofiness to a furever family! We rescued HAL when he was only 8 weeks old along with many abandoned sick and injured puppies being attacked by packs of dogs and vultures in the desert. Since that day, HAL has been living at PDR. He is current on all vaccinations, microchipped, neutered (I also had his rear dew claws removed) , he's microchipped is leash trained, house/pee pad trained, knows verbal and hand commands, plays fetch and rides well in the vehicle!! He's rough n tumble and plays with dogs of all sizes, however, we do not advise a home with very small animals or children. We encourage pre-adoption sleepovers as well as foster-to-adopt too (must be preapproved)! WE ARE LOCATED IN LAS CRUCES, NM - BY APPOINTMENT. We are not open to the public. (We do not transport our dogs). PDR is a rescue and sanctuary for special needs dogs while continuing to rescue dogs and pups in emergency situations.
