About Bella CA

Bella is a black bicolor, 45-pound, 2-yr-old Australian Kelpie mix with blue-ticked toes who is sure she will win your heart! This affectionate lap dog gets along well with every person and dog she encounters. She quickly gains confidence around other dogs. This friendly girl would do best in a home with one or more dogs - the more, the merrier for Bella! Likes: - Being brushed - Being pet - Cuddling, hiking, or nearly any activity with her people - Playing with dog friends - Chasing balls Fears: - Fireworks - Raised voices or loud noises - Bath time We rescued Bella from euthanasia at an overcrowded shelter. She is praise-motivated and learns best when not scolded, as she seems to have a history of abuse and braces when voices are raised. She would do best in a home where she has space to run and play with other dogs and where she can get frequent exercise. True to her herding dog heritage, she is attentive to commands and is calm around livestock and other animals. She is highly Velcro and has high energy.
