About Mishka

This post is going out with a Hail Mary that one angel sees this and saves sweet Mishka. She is urgent and will euthanize her due to length of stay and lack of space for incoming dogs. Due to being significantly overcapacity with animals and higher than usual intake, extensions are unlikely to be granted. Below is her bio from the shelter . She is absolutely gorgeous , she has one blue eye and one brown , so unique . Mishka is a beautiful 4-year-old female husky mix who came in as an owner surrender on 10/28 due her owner not being able to care for Mishka's needs. The owners noted that Mishka 'lived with cats and children, high energy, doesn't like her food touched and she loves playing before eating. She is good and barks at strangers, good and hyper with children and good and playful with cats'. Since getting to the shelter Mishka has been nervous and unsure, taking ample time to settle into shelter life. For the first few days Mishka showed resentment for the slip lead and needed lots of coaxing to exit her kennel, but with lots of patience and motivation she has learned that slip lead = walks and that staff and volunteers are here to be her friend! Since settling in Mishka has shown that she is a fun girl with a bouncy and energetic side to her. She loves to run around, play, and explore. Due to Mishka's initial behavior when she arrived in shelter, along with the possibility of guarding her food she should go to a home aged 12+. Mishka would thrive in an active home where she gets lots of exercise and play time.. She loves to play with tennis balls . All her friends got euthanized today and they gave Mishka one more day to find an angel that will say yes to this sweetheart . I am hoping somebody will be texting me to save this beautiful sweet girl, she deserves life , not to leave in a garbage bag because the shelter is to full .
