Though some kind strangers offered him scraps, others cruelly hurled rocks at him. Warrior fought to survive until a devoted rescuer intervened. They found him with an embedded harness causing painful sores, and he was suffering from untreated wounds that had begun to fester. Thanks to his foster dad, Warrior is now healing-both physically from his medical issues and emotionally. In a remarkable sign of progress, Warrior recently allowed his foster dad to pet him for the first time, a huge step toward rebuilding his trust in humans.
