About Bagels

Bagels is a Hound Mix approximately 3yo. Bagels is sweet girl who is wonderful with people but is reactive and potentially aggressive towards other animals. My wife and I rescued Bagels from the Nashville Humane Society in July of 2023 and she has been interwoven into our family which consists of two adults and a 3yo lab. Earlier this month, my wife and I were blessed with our first child and, unfortunately, Bagels has become very protective of our newborn. Due to this, we're having to start this difficult process. Bagels is dog aggressive and protective of her 'home turf' but, in the right environment, can thrive. She is a very smart girl who is wonderful with people. We've had minimal issues with her interactions towards our other dog in our home before having our newborn. We received similar feedback from prior fosters as well. Bagels has been through significant training over the past year and is strong in her 'Sit', 'Lay Down', 'Find it', and Recall abilities.
