My name is Kevin Johns. I'm hoping you may be able to help our neighborhood, since the City of Jacksonville Animal Control has been absolutely useless. Someone dumped a female pit bull in my mom's neighborhood. She has been going around to everyone's house looking for something to eat. Unfortunately, no one can take her in, since everyone out here already has pets. She has a couple of deep scratches on her back, possibly put there by the person who dumped her. She is not aggressive. My mom's neighbor managed to capture her, but the city will not take her for some reason. She is caged and is being provided with food and water, but the neighbor already has a dog and can't keep her permanently. If you can help us find a home for her, it would be greatly appreciated.
