About Brown Dog

Meet Brown Dog (aka Brown Dug): The PERFECT Dog! Brown Dug is the total package-great with dogs, cats, kids, and adults alike! He's calm, intelligent, and knows all his basic commands. He's well-behaved, loves car rides, and is always eager to please. We truly can't say enough good things about this incredible boy! If there's one thing he's still working on, it's loose-leash walking-he does like to pull a bit. But with a quick reminder, he happily turns back. Abandoned in The Brown Center parking lot, Brown Dog's past is a mystery, but one thing is certain-he's a Very Good Boy with a heart of gold. Unfortunately, he tested positive for both heartworms and Lyme disease, but he's already begun his treatments. He'll start heartworm treatment on December 16, 2024, and we'll know by July 2025 if he's heartworm-free-send him some good vibes for a clean bill of health! Through it all, Brown Dog remains his happy, affectionate self, always ready for treats, love, and adventure. He's a fantastic travel buddy and deeply devoted to his person.
