About Casper

Boo! Casper is a 34 lb medium energy, friendly border collie mix, just under a year old. He is neutered and current on vaccines. His foster mom calls him 'an all around good, good boy'. Just like Casper the friendly ghost, this Casper loves to play with other dogs and is friendly to all. He wants to please and wants to cuddle and be with his people. Casper is living with a foster on acreage so he hasn't been on a leash a lot but when he has been, he's done a good job. He is a bit of a swerver but would get the hang of it quickly with practice. He is very smart, and if you ask him not to do something you just have to ask gently and he responds. He listens very well, has great recall, and just wants to crawl up on the couch and cuddle with you. Not high energy, but loves his walks! His foster has discovered if he is chasing something he doesn't hear a thing! LOL. He does chase horses a bit, but is getting used to them. He is not crate trained but is xpen trained. He hasn't had any accidents in the house, and he sleeps with his foster's son in bed. Doesn't chew. He will grab his foster's boots and leave them in different places but he doesn't pick at them unless they have fuzz. He needs to be in a cat free home.
