About Zero

My partner found a hound mix of some kind wandering around the chemical plant where he works at, out here in Liberty County GA. The dog was a safety hazard at the plant. We have been taking care of this dog because we thought we knew who he belonged to, but it turns out that wasn't the case. We have posted the dog in local FB pages trying to find an owner. Currently naming him Zero because he appears to have zero owners. The name was also inspired from the movie Nightmare before Christmas, since we acquired the dog around Halloween time. He is very well behaved - does not attack my chickens & knows how to sit. Zero was very skinny a few weeks ago but I've managed to put some more weight on him. I get the vibe that he used to be a hunting dog living in a pack before he got separated. It unfortunately happens all the time in our area and the people running the dogs don't always care enough to return in order to get their own dogs back. Anyways, I thought it would be nice for Zero if he could be with other hounds. He himself is not a bloodhound but possibly a beagle mix of some kind. Would love to keep Zero but already have 4 dogs & 1 cat of our own in addition to poultry outside & exotic animals inside. Although, we will be keeping him until we find a suitable rescue for him because there are high mortality rates for the dogs at Liberty County AC. Let me know if you have a person to help transport him. We are in Midway but I do work & go to school in Savannah. Thank you so much
