Cooper was originally adopted from the Humane Society. After some time in his adopter's home, it was determined that he wasn't the best fit due to his excitability. Cooper was then relinquished to us, and immediately entered into our Train to Home foster program! Since then, Cooper has been bouncing back and forth between boarding with us and staying in potential adopter's homes. He is more than ready for a stable future! Personality: Cooper is dog-friendly, and loves to play both by himself and with his people. He lights up the room and makes friends wherever he goes! Cooper is convinced he is nothing but a big lap dog, and does not hesitate to climb into the lap of anyone who would let him. Training and Behavior: Food is Cooper's main motivator! He loves to perform and loves all types of rewards, including affection. He does experience mild separation anxiety due to the inconsistency in his life so far, but with proper care and dedication in his forever home we believe he can conquer this in just a few weeks. Ideal Home: Cooper's ideal home would be with an active owner or family that can take him on runs, hikes, and beach trips. He loves wandering the lakeside on a 30-foot long line and exploring Fiesta Island Dog Park. Cooper is being trained on an E-Collar for direct communication at off-leash dog parks and hiking trails, and this training can be continued once he is adopted! Adoption Details: Cooper is neutered, has a clean bill of health, and is up-to-date on vaccinations, flea & tick prevention, and dewormer. His adoption fee is $650 and includes his crate, food, and supplies, two FREE training sessions, and 25% off all future private sessions.
