Poodle, bichon, maltese, etc) - LOVING ADOPTER OR FOSTER AND RESCUE NEEDED ASAP - GOOD W OTHER DOGS, AND OK W/CATS Help! We were contacted by a local rescue group trying to assist an owner with declining health and now struggling to care for their well loved, very sweet senior girl Mika who still has a lot of pep left in her step as seen in videos we have. Mika is a lovely blend of many breeds- 37% chow, 14% poodle, 12% bichon, 9% Pomeranian, maltese and much more to make her a super adorable senior super mutt! Mika is currently kept shaved for ease, but if you like a fluff, you can elect to let it grow out. Mika was adopted as a young puppy. Her owner tell us, she is 'Friendly with dogs and kids. Gets very excited around cats and needs a slow introduction, but will lay near them after a while. Goes to dog daycare. Potty trained and lives indoors - has been an outside dog in the past when having to live with my parents. Has current shots, can provide records.' Mika has no reported bites towards people or other pets. However, her owner let us know she does have hypothyroidism and is now on Levothyroxine .2mg once a day, and recently diagnosed with mild Valley Fever and will be on Fluxonazole for 3 months before needing to be retested again. Mikea is already spayed. The owner does not want to take Mika to the shelter where she may be at risk for euthanasia. Please help us find a good home or foster where Mika can live out her golden years. Some local transport may be considered for qualified homes.
