ABBY, DEAF DOG WALKING, right outta the shelter! Abby is a 4-year-old, medium-sized, medium-energy pittie mix. She has been reliably kenneled with different dogs throughout her tenure and is remarkably unaffected by the stress of shelter life. That's because she can't hear. Is Abby's hearing the reason adopters haven't stepped up? As those of us who've had deaf dogs know, they're EASY! Abby is currently in foster, where she is living with other dogs (big and little) and a tortoise. Unionism so far about cats & is good with older children too. She's learning sign language.
