Misty is a 4-year-old spayed 50 lb. Australian Shepherd mix (photos attached). We adopted her during the pandemic, and consequently, early on, she did not have much contact with other people. We are reluctantly surrendering her due to family medical reasons. She is a loving dog and does well in out-of-home environments. While she is not good with smaller dogs, when she is at our son's home, she plays well with his dog, who is a bit larger than her. She is also aggressive with smaller children (nips at them), so I would not recommend a home with any kids younger than teenagers. She plays well at dog parks - she's a bit of a wallflower, but when other dogs indicate they want to play, she often joins in. I always take her to the 50 lb and up section of Swede's Run Park. Misty would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, which we don't have. When she visits my son's house, she enjoys running around his fenced yard with his dog. She is current on her vaccinations, and her shot records are available upon request.
