About MJ

Mj has a long story, we took him in about 2 years ago after learning his previous owner was abandoning him, we where told he was about 9-10 years old at the time. When we first go him we also received medicine for heartworms and a cough. After a couple of months we took him to the vet after a scare (turns out he ate something that scratched his throat), and learned through several tests as they where trying to diagnose him that he has no parasites(heartworm free!), his age is accurate and he has no health issues other than a dead tooth (this visit was about 1-1/2 years ago at Companion Animal Hospital at 4321 N Harlem Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). I stopped giving him his cough medicine shortly after I took Mj in and had not noticed any excessive coughing, after discussing with the vet they agreed there is no reason to keep him on that medication so he has been medication and problem free since. Mj is really good with my cat, my sisters dog and all other animals he's met! He's great with kids as well. He just wants to lay in company and is super sweet. He knows several commands and he only barks at you when he's excited or happy so don't be scared! I've tried my best to take care of Mj but unfortunately I can't afford to give him the life he deserves and my property will soon be under construction so I'll no longer be able to keep him. He is not fully vaccinated but does have rabbis shots. Mj is estimated to be about 11 this year and still full of life for a senior! Please help me find him the home he deserves.
