[Case opened on 11/14/24]. WOOSTER, OHIO OR WILLIAMSBURG, OHIO . 10 MONTHS OLD, MALE SHEPHERD MIX (DOB:1/7/24). His name is 'CALCIFER '. Background: Has been with the same person since he was 8 weeks old. NOT UTD on shots (Had first 2 sets of puppy shots) NOT Fixed (TOO YOUNG FOR THIS BREED). Good with kids, but big, hyper and goofy. Good with dogs. Good with cats. House trained. Crate trained. No known medical issues. SEPARATION ANXIETY. HIGH ENERGY . Currently on PURINA LARGE BREED food. Weighs APP 45 lbs. NOT Good with car rides (cries a lot). Loves: CHEWING! - bones - tug of war - wearing bandanas - cuddles - his person - playing hide and seek with his toys - going on walks - running. Calcifer is such a great pup! He is very loving and protective. Very intelligent and knows Basic Commands plus Hand Commands. He is a big ball of energy, dorky, and vocal and will bark and whine back to you. He will also bark at the door when he has to go potty. He has very High Pup Energy and could play all day long. He is okay on a leash but still learning. He is very strong. The Current Shepherd Parents living situation has changed and now Calcifer is forced to live the majority of his life in his crate. He is very unhappy (of course), miserable and not thriving. The Current Shepherd Parent cannot afford to give him the better life that he so desperately needs and deserves. This is an extreme inappropriate living situation so Calcifer needs to find his good forever home IMMEDIATELY. Will thrive best in a home with someone who is HOME A LOT who can spend time with him and show him love and kindness. He is spending too much time in his crate and we need to turn that around very quickly. Comes with: leash, collar, toy, bowls.
