She was matted and full of fleas. We have brought her up to date on vaccines,microchipped, and spayed. General Behavior: Mia is a happy little girl: after a few initial nerves, she is content to hang with his foster and her dogs andAt the end of a hard day of napping and watching his foster work, he likes to unwind with a hard chew toy. He's a gold-medal toy-chewer! Likes & Dislikes: Mia does not like being left alone and would benefit from someone who works from home or semi retired. Training: Mia is housetrained if let out frequently. She will need training to learn how to walk on a leash. Medical: Mia is a healthy girl! SHe just needs her monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. Other Animals: Mia is great with other dogs! He has yet to be observed around cats. Children: Mia needs a home with kind, understanding teens or no children. Home: Mia does bark when left alone as she suffers from separation anxiety. Therefore, she would be better living in a single family home. Grooming: As a Maltese, Mia will need regular brushing plus professional grooming about every 6-8 weeks.
