About Adelita

Hello my name is Adelita :) I am an energetic 1 year old female Border Collie mix. I am fixed and my vaccinations are up to date. I was adopted from the San Jacinto Animal shelter but my owner quickly realized he could not keep up with my levels of energy and mental stimulation I very much need on a regular basis. I need someone who has the time for me and someone who can keep me busy working as I am a workaholic! A farm might be something very ideal for me but I also need my cuddles. I love chew toys but I definitely recommend heavy duty ones. I love playing fetch! I came from a hoarding situation and I was abused and that's how I ended up in the shelter. But I have come a long way with opening up to people, it just may take me a while to open up with new people. Which I hope you can understand. But I promise you I am worth the leap of faith seeing as I have so much love to offer and I am very smart! I do have a pretty bad chewing habit which my current home I am in the care of is trying to work on with me. Other than that I just hope I can go to a home in which I am loved unconditionally and I can make furvever memories with. A home which has plenty of activities for me!
