About Rose

Adoption Fee: $375
American Staffordshire Terrier / Lab
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Rose, previously known as Miko, is a joyful young Staffy/Lab mix who made her way here from a high-intake shelter in Texas where her future was uncertain. Now safe and thriving in Illinois, Rose is blossoming into a wiggly, loveable girl who's so grateful for her second chance! Rose has been adjusting beautifully to home life. She's respectful of household rules, and housebroken! She isn't crazy about her crate but will go in with some encouragement. At night, Rose loves resting in her own gated area, where she snoozes soundly, ready for another day of fun. From the start, Rose has shown her BIG love for sniffing and exploring every corner of her new world. She happily wags her tail-and often her entire body!-as she investigates inside and outside. Her mealtimes are a treat to watch; she eats like a champ, and we're giving her small snacks to help her adjust. Rose is also a cuddle pro! During her first bath, she sweetly tucked her face into her foster's lap, showing off her tender side. With typical puppy energy, she's eager to play and introduce herself with full-hearted enthusiasm, even happily befriending her foster's resident puppy. She's very respectful of boundaries, responding quickly to any limits set with gentleness and respect. Rose is an affectionate, joyful pup who's already stealing hearts with her endless wiggles and love for life. She's truly a gem who deserves a home where she can continue to thrive and share her snuggles. ? Could that home be yours?
