Elwood is a good boy. He has a persistent groin injury that the vet can't identify without surgery, and didn't recommend it. Therefore he is not permitted to run, I avoid letting him onto the couch. He grew up with my GSD who passed, so he should be fine with even temperament larger dogs. I keep him separated form my smaller Pomchi as she is aggressive to all dogs.So I can't speak to how he will be with small breeds. Also regarding children, he has only been around mine, as they grew from preteen to teenagers, so I can't speak to ones younger than that. He's about 80lbs so I lift him into the car if we go to the vet. HE is VERY food motivated, and smart, so easy to train. Inside dog for sure, extremely well potty trained, and good watch dog. I have recently divorced (she can't take care him) and will be starting grad school, otherwise I would keep him, because I love him dearly.
