About Bo

Bo is a very sweet, but very anxious dog. He is a love bug and is glued to your side once he warms up to you. He does not do well with children, but older kids (teens) he is fine with. He struggles with new people - barks, runs away, is very fearful, especially if someone crouches/bends down towards him. But after he gets a few sniffs in he warms up to people and has no problems. He has not been aggressive towards any adults or kids. He does well with my female yellow lab, but he tries to herd my parents hound dog when he is around him. So it is a mix of how he is towards other dogs. But he would do best in a house with another laid back female dog, it helps reduce his anxiety when he is left alone. He is house broken and has no behavioral issues besides the anxiety. He is an amazing dog, he just needs a patient, loving owner with knowledge about dealing with anxiety.
