About Moonie

Hi, my name is Moonie. First off, I ask you to share this with your friends, it's not easy finding a GOOD home in this economy! People say I might be a Border Collie mix. I'm a great size- at around 30 lbs, I'm easy to walk and cuddle with, but not too small, like one of those foofoo dogs. I think I'm about four years old. I've been to the vet where I received all my vaccinations and a microchip, but I think they took a couple things, too! My house had five dogs living in it, so when my dad left, his girlfriend decided it was time for father and son to find a new home. This couple from Clarion, Iowa came to get us; I was hoping it was just me, but they brought Loofy, too, ughhhh! He was great when he was a puppy, but now that he's a little bigger than me, I worry I won't get what I need, so I take everything from him. I don't like it when he plays with their other dog. The vets say it's 'sibling syndrome'- even though we're not siblings, we're just too close in age, size, gender, even looks. I guess you could say I'd rather be an only-dog in my furr-ever home! Likes: -toys: rubber squeakers, plushies, fetch, tug-of-war. I can play it all! -cuddles: I love to just chill with my humans in bed, on the couch; whenever, wherever they want snuggles, I'm there! -walks: I'm pretty chill on a leash, but I know I could be even better. -commands: I don't like to brag, but I know sit, down, shake- heck, I 'stay' better than any dog my current humans have ever seen. -humans: I really love humans, it doesn't take me any time at all to warm up to them. -being alone with my human: When it's just me and my human, I can relax and just lay down quietly with good vibes while they're working on whatever humans do that doesn't have to do with me. When there's other dogs around, especially Loofy, I get really worried my parents will like them better or that they might get something I'm not getting. I hate it! It makes me feel really anxious. �ٴ� Dislikes: -Loofy -Car rides: I do ok with meds. If you give me one of those rubber things you put lick treats in, it will really help me feel less anxious. -When Loofy has a toy -When Loofy is playing with another dog -When Loofy gets food or a treat -When Loofy gets attention -The very existence of Loofy So if you think I might be what you're looking for, just send this human a message.
