[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Mila is a 7 year old purebred (AKC registered) Rottweiler spayed female. She is extremely eager to please, responds very well to training and commands, and loves her humans and her herding ball. Mila has had both of her ACLs replaced. The first at 11 months and the second at just past 2 years of age. With each surgery she has become more anxious. The only trigger for her anxiety that I've been able to pinpoint is when there is lots of activity. When this happens she becomes aggressive to me (an adult male) in the form of nipping. She also becomes aggressive or food/toy protective with her sister (6 year old rottweiler). On walks she will rarely become protective if we pass another walker and/or animal. Maybe 1 out of 10 times. I've seen a dog behaviorist and also put her on prozac. It helps as do the activities the behaviorist recommended, but I've recently become a single father and the time commitment I need for her just isn't available any more. I've reached a point where I will need to euthanize her if I cannot find a suitable home for her. She is the perfect dog 99% of the time. She does great with most dogs either in her backyard or theirs. She's never been around cats, but as she enters predator mode with opossums and racoons she may not be good for a home with cats. She's extremely gentle with my children and always has been, but her aggression with our other dog has occurred in close proximity with my children. Additionally she is slightly incontinent since her spaying. From time to time she will dribble slightly while sleeping. I have her on proin for this which stops it completely.
