I am looking for a home for Sage. I have had her for a little over two and a half years. I adopted her after she was taken in from a reservation in the Southwest. Sage is a super fun and sweet dog. She is very smart, loves to fetch balls or sticks in the water. She is snuggly and likes to give kisses. She gets along well with other dogs. She has a high prey drive so I would not recommend her to a home with small animals or free range chickens. She has been around horses and did fine with them. She seems interested in herding livestock but won't chase them. I don't have children, so she hasn't spent much time around kids. She is well behaved around them, just a little unsure of them. My main reason for rehoming Sage is that I am pregnant and lost my home in Hurricane Helene. We are moving into a rental and can't keep her/ I don't think that I can meet Sage's exercise requirements once my baby is here and want to see her find a home where she has more freedom and activity. Sage is an awesome adventure partner, she will be a wonderful dog for an active person or family! I truly hope to find Sage the right fit before so she can live the life she deserves! She is an awesome running/hiking partner, or would be a good herding or hunting dog.
