About Astro

This fluffy guy is Astro, a 3 years old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who weighs about 55-60 lbs. Astro knows his basics: Sit, wait before going out of door, and 'crate.' He also gives a paw when asked. Astro is house and crate trained. Astro is good with people, and is friendlier with women to start. But he is a friendly guy who enjoys people. He should be fine living with older kids. Astro is good with dogs but can be afraid of small dogs. He does play with other dogs he likes. He lives with cats but plays rough. He could be okay with a very dog savvy cat, or ideally in a home without cats. Astro likes to fetch. He is also good on leash with a gentle leader. He can be timid sometimes when cars go by so is likely better in a quieter neighborhood. Plus, he is good in the car so makes a good road trip pal. Astro is a great best friend. He greets you when you come home and will bring you his toys. He is a good adventure partner, too. Astro is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. He is located in Lancaster, CA and ready to meet adopters who can meet and adopt here. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
