About Sammie

Sammie is an 11 year old Malinois mix we rescued 6 years ago. She was badly abused, malnourished and had heart worms. We spared no expense for treatment and medication. Recently her dad died. He was her main caregiver and they adored each other. She has been seriously affected by his death. I'm her mom, like dad I am elderly (75, dad was 78) and partially disabled. I'm unable to walk her and have great difficulty handling her because she is strong, weighs 72 lbs. She is very protective of me, my home and my car but does well otherwise. I would need to bring her away from home to meet someone. She's so sweet and tender with me and I know she will come to love someone new. I'm in the process of selling my house and will be moving into a senior apartment soon. They don't allow dogs . I'm beyond grieved to loose my husband, my home and my beautiful girl. We have spoiled her and wanted to give her a loving happy home for her senior years. I am praying for a younger person who will take her and give her the love she so richly deserves. Someone who is familiar with this breed. Please please take a look at Sammie and open your heart and home for her. I'm not able to travel far so I am looking for someone in the Pensacola area.
