Rosie is a 2.5 year, female, gray/white shihtzu who weighs 9lbs. Rosie was an owner surrender. She was used to breed and spent her first two years in a cage. Although Rosie was not socialized, she is quiet, docile and sweet. In one week, her foster mom has witnessed one tiny tail wag. Rosie will run away from people and is afraid of a leash. On a positive note, Rosie is going in and out of the house into the yard. She like other dogs, ignores cats and is extremely smart. The cutest thing about Rosie is although shy, she will sit from afar and watch every move her foster mom makes. She wants to trust, but doesn't know how. Rosie's foster mom will catch her and hold her while sitting in the chair. As displayed by these pictures at the groomer, Rosie does snuggle and wants to be loved. Every day is a new learning opportunity for Rosie. She will never have to be bred again and we will find her an incredible home. Adoption fee $500
