Hey there, everyone! We're Princess and Heidi, a sweet, friendly, loving bonded pair of 13-pound cuddle bugs who were born about May 2022. We're easy to please because we get along with everyone - adults, kids, as well as other dogs. Who knows without a DNA test if we're related because we don't look very much alike. Princess says, 'I'm an outgoing, friendly, and spirited salt-and-pepper miniature Schnauzer/ Chihuahua mix. I'm the size and color with the wire-haired coat of a Schnauzer, but I have the telltale 'bat' ears and snout of a Chihuahua. Schnauzers were created to be all-around farm dogs and ratters, so I'm small enough to adapt to apartment life but tireless enough to patrol acres of farmland. Given the chance, I'd probably be a pretty enthusiastic squirrel chaser! I'm very home- and family-oriented, but I need outlets for my upbeat athleticism. My bright eyes gleam with keen intelligence. I'm very smart as well as obedient and consequently easily trainable when my hooman is gentle but firm with me. Heidi says, 'I'm a gentle, laid-back, and even-tempered black Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix gal with a few red or white 'points' on my eyebrows, chest, and paws. My size, folded ears, and silky, wavy coat indicate my possible Cavalier heritage. I'm really quite adorable because my sweet, naive expression draws everyone to me, and I soon become their warm, eager-to-please companion. Cavaliers are the ultimate lap dog and effuse a sparkling presence. We're an active breed who enjoys a frolic in the back yard or a squirrel chase. However, depending on our owner's lifestyle, we're adaptable: we can be upbeat athletes with active owners yet shameless couch potatoes with homebodies.'
