Susie - a beautiful one year old girl, English Pointer with maybe coon dog and lab, 50# angel. I need to rehome Susie solely due to my health. Susie started life in a shelter but has thrived in my home the past 6 months. I am searching for a home where she will continue to get love. My hope is that she have a loving home with a space where she can sometimes run and play. She sleeps in her crate, asks to go potty, is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Susie loves deeply. If we haven't snuggled during the day she asks to lay together in the evening. She was scared by a night jogger shortly after adoption and has since shied away from people. If given time and space to approach someone on her own, she makes friends. She is good with preschool and older children but has had limited experience with younger children and would need to learn best behavior. She warms up to women before men but is improving and has many friends in our neighborhood. We live in a community without fences and Susie must walk on a leash. She does well with walks, now doing slower 'sensory' walks because of Mama and enjoys sitting in the grass chewing sticks. She has energy to do power walks with someone who loves that. She enjoys her time at a community dog park and happily greets whoever is there. Susie is an adolescent who has her zoomies times but she is also the girl who is happy relaxing and snuggling.
