About Sage

Meet Sage, a sweet 5 year old, 8 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in McKinney, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered. Finally, it looks like Summer has left us and brought us well deserved cooler weather. I forgot to mention in my last biography that UYR did take me to an eye specialist Dogter to see if anything could be done to help me regain some or any of my vision. They ran some tests and came back to tell Foster mommy the sad news that I had double detached retina, and they have been that way for a very long time and there really wasn't anything they could do for me. Fortunately I did not have dry eye syndrome so there are no need for drops. I do need to go see the eye specialist once the year so they can check my eyes and make sure I'm producing teardrops and I do not have dry eye syndrome. If that does happen to happen in the future, the eyedrop's aren't that expensive Since I last checked in, I can let you know that I've learned to navigate more of Stickhorse Ranch and the backyard. I still love my foster daddy though, so I guess you can say I'm a boy dog looking for my Seeing Eye Hooman Guy. I like foster mom, but she's definitely not my favorite. I have the best doggy watch in the world. If I don't have supper in front of me at 6 PM, I will start doing circles and pacing up and down the hallway. I really am a sweet, gentle guy, I love snuggling with you and under the covers and in the covers. I do love to play with toys and I love playing with my treats before I devour them. I really am a very laid-back guy. I don't need much or ask for much other than you to be my special person to take care of me and spoil me the way I should be spoiled. It will just take time for us to warm up to each other so if you were looking for a really special guy, I'm it. I will follow you Furever and ever.
