We have had Bruce for the last 4 years out of the 6 he's been alive. I got him from a friend who had three male dogs that always fought. He got into a few fights when we first got him with other male dogs who were unleashed walking though our neighborhood, so we quickly got him neutered, which has been very effective. Also, we have a male wiener dog that we have had for six years, And there has been a couple altercations over food...that's the bad. Here's the good about Bruce. Bruce is our neighborhood Guard dog, Who is always outside with all my kids and the neighborhood kids playing and smiling and chasing his ball. He is full of energy and is very affectionate. We have people in and out of our house constantly...including tons of nephews and nieces all the time..kids pet him and are all up in his face constantly, and Bruce just chills and smiles and constantly brings kids his ball. However, last week we are unsure what happened, but he snipped at my nephew which has never happened, Causing a massive family dilemma. Many people are wanting us to put him down, which is understandable, And at the same time, nobody saw what happened when Bruce snipped at him. He did not lock on or bite him and clamp down, and that's all I can prove. I personally do not want to put him down Or rehome him unfortunately some of my emotional sister-in-law's refuse to come over if he still around ... Even if I put him in a kennel or put a muzzle on him . So I'm looking to rehome him sooner than later. Has been nothing but amazing for my entire family, and for our entire neighborhood.
