About Bear

Bear is a sweet 9 year old mixed breed. Bear was rescued as a puppy but due to circumstances surrounding his early life, Bear has always been fearful. He is a gentle soul. He has spent the past 8 years with our family all over the country but we are relocating out of the USA and he can't come. Bear is shy and initially weary of new people but easily warms up if a good scratch and treat are offered. He loves walks and zooming around the yard. He has lived alongside another female dog but is not good with unfamiliar animals. He has also been around two young children but it would be in his best interest to be in a home without any. The unpredictability of children makes him nervous. Bear is up to date on all his shots and had a recent dental cleaning and extraction. He is very good with grooming and has gone monthly since he was a year old. An ideal environment would be calm, consistent, adult only and able to go on walks and give him affection.
