About Rue

Rue is a very affectionate cat. She loves snuggles and scratches, and will happily sit in your lap. She is playful and loves to chase her sister around the house. She is skittish of new comers at first but with a little patients and consistent respect she warms up quickly. Because of this she's ok with older children who are more understanding of her autonomy. I have not had her around small children (all my nieces and nephews range from 7-14yo) so it is possible she'll do alright especially if they respect her cues. she's always been very passive, preferring to remove herself from stressful situations then instigate fighting, be it with fellow cats or humans. She has been an indoor cat all her life and is not recommended to roam outside.
