Genie is a beautiful and excessively sweet 1 year 1 month old female German Shepherd and Great Pyrenees mix with a touch of Belgian Malinois. Genie and her other four siblings were rescued minutes from being euthanized from a high-kill shelter in San Jacinto California at just 11 weeks old. Sadly, on the day that Genie was rescued, she and her siblings witnessed their momma and other siblings part of their litter be killed before their eyes. Only Genie, her two brothers and two sisters made it out alive. Almost a year later, Genie and her sister Nebula are still being fostered and both girls are still patiently waiting for the right loving family to come their way. Unfortunately, the rescue who pulled Genie and her siblings has recently shut down and their demise puts Genie and her sister at risk of being returned to the shelter where they will most likely lose their life due to the overflow crisis happening at every shelter in California. These angel girls deserve a great life full of love and fun adventures and we are trying our best to find them that loving home before they are reclaimed by the shelter. Genie and her siblings are crate trained, potty trained, leash trained and know basic commands paired with yummy treats. Despite the shelter trauma Genie and her siblings had to endure as young puppies, they all absolutely love to be around their humans. Genie's big eyes express the overflowing love she has for her people. Sweet puppy Genie loves one-on-one attention and affection although she doesn't mind sharing the love with other fur babies in the household. Genie is treat motivated, enjoys strolls around the community alongside her sister Nebula, she also enjoys toys, play ball and rest in her crate with a yummy chew. Genie currently does life with other German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Rottweiler and small maltipoos that also live in our home. Genie and the pack enjoy playtime outdoors but live an indoor life. Although Genie has proven to do well with dogs of different sizes, sex, breed and ages, we believe her and her sister Nebula would thrive in a home with larger furry ones due to their herding nature. Genie is bonded with her sister Nebula and it's our hope they can go together to a loving home. Nor Genie or her sister have any known medical or physical issues, they are both very happy girls, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and will be spayed before going to their loving family.
