About Ava

Recent empty nesters with an elderly and ill family member in Atlanta need to rehome 6 year old boxer mix. Child -- now at college -- who trained and took care of dog for 6 years understands the situation and need to rehome. Couple needs to be able to come and go to help with care of family member. One person in the couple had a recent knee replacement and will have a second one later this year and cannot take care of the dog on her own. They are seeking the right fit for a well loved dog named Ava. She is a loyal, sweet, and loving dog who thrives on routine. She is crate trained and works well on a leash. She would do best in a home with no young kids.
