About Jackfruit

Jackfruit was rescued from Okeechobee animal control. He was adopted as a puppy there and the person did not take good care of him. He was kept on a chain in the backyard during the day and a garage at night. Then he was hit by a car. When he came to us his leg could not be saved. For all that he's been through l, this is a very, very sweet and loving dog. He's only 8 months old and weighs 34 lbs. He does well with other dogs, cats, and respectful children. He appears to be housebroken. Three legs will in no way slow him down. I know there's a very special family out there for him. He is heartworm negative. Please keep in mind that we try to match your application and lifestyle with a dog the best suits your home. We are the dogs advocate and we put their needs first in hopes that we are finding them a forever home. For this reason we don't operate on first come first serve. We do reserve the right to request photos of your home. You must be 21 years of age to adopt. We do reserve the right to deny any application.
