About Tony

Tony was found dumped in rural Texas on 'dog dump street' (that's what his rescuer calls the place where he was found). He was simply tossed out of a car and left by the side of the road to fend for himself. Believe it or not this happens all the time��%BD'��%BD|and it's always heart breaking when we hear about it. Luckily his good samaritan rescuer picked him up and called us for help. We can never say no to help out in a situation like this! Tony had a bad case of ringworm which was medically treated and is now cleared up. As you can tell from the pictures, he still has a several bare patches where the infection was. His fur has already started to grow back in; however, there may be a few places where it doesn't come back. That's okay little Tony, we love you just the way you are! We estimate him to be about a year old and he weighs around 14 pounds. He looks to be a chihuahua mix. Tony is very sweet. He is both cat and dog friendly. He's already house broken and walks pretty well on a leash. He has been fully vetted and when adopted, will be transported to the tri-state area.
