About Archie

Adoption Fee: $100
German Shepherd / Bull Terrier
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Archie is a 3 year old neutered male dog that weighs approximately 80lbs. We have DNA results for Archie! He is 50% German Shepherd, 30% American Bully and 13 % American Pit Bull Terrier and 7% American Bulldog! He came from California rescue. We were asked to help find him a home ! He was originally adopted as a puppy by a couple there. After having a baby for 6 months they returned him because they didn't want a big dog around the baby, even though he was fine with the baby! They returned him to the Rescue that adopted out originally. He was returned to the rescue when he was 3 years old. So we were asked to find him a good home. He has been in doggie day care with multiple dogs, but at our rescue he has not been dog friendly here. Hi energy. Good with cats and kids! Housetrained! Rides calmly in a car. Likes to play with toys! We tested him for heartworm and Tick borne diseases! All negative! He is microchipped! Bigger sized kids in a home would probably be best because of his size. Only bad issue is he is protective of his food bowl! Whether full or empty! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Archie please text Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Our other adoptable pets our posted on our website as well as the very brief (5 minutes) application form. https://rescuepetsservingvets.org.
