Meet Star - A Bright, Beautiful Geckos Looking for a Forever Home! Star is a sweet and easygoing gecko, full of personality and ready to shine in a forever home. Though small in size, they are a big commitment, with a potential lifespan of up to 20 years and the ability to grow up to 10 inches long. Star may be tiny, but they will need the proper care and attention for many years to come! As a nocturnal insectivore, Star enjoys eating a variety of bugs and socializing in the evenings. They love to be handled and are often found at adoption events, where they are calm and easy to interact with. While Star doesn't have sticky fingers like some other geckos, they are quite delicate. They may drop their tail if startled, which can impact their health, so it's important to keep them calm and avoid this stress. Star needs their own habitat and cannot cohabitate with other geckos, even of the opposite gender. They thrive best when given their own space to flourish. Star came into the shelter sick, weak, and starving, but with the care of their foster family at SBRSC, they are now healthy and thriving, with their beautiful colors returning.
