About Butterscotch

Butterscotch is a young 30 pound boy, estimated to be around 6 months old. Our best guess on his breed is some type of cattle dog mix. His mom looks like a cattle dog and dad looks like a shep/rhodesian mix. So we are guessing he will be around 70 pounds when fully grown. His sister, Carmela, is also available for adoption. They were recently seized by a sheriff in Texas when their owner was evicted from her rental property. She was a hoarder and the dogs and cats on her property were found in a state of absolutely terrible neglect. In fact, one of the pups, who we've named Miss Dolly, is in such bad shape that she is considered to be a hospice pup - and the best we can do for her is to try to keep her happy and comfortable in her final days. Please help Butterscotch find a forever home, so he can have the happy story tale ending he so deserves. He is still a bit on the shy side around humans, but he is quickly learning that we are here to help him. His sister is super friendly and trusting so we predict the Butterscotch will open up in no time. Butterscotch is currently in foster care in Texas but will be transported to NJ upon adoption.
