About Tad

Sweet Tad is the spitting image of his mother, with his shaggy, border collie-esque coat and endearingly wayward ears that perk up in every direction. Despite his scruffy, disheveled appearance, Tad has a wonderfully warm and welcoming personality, making him a more approachable companion than some of his more reserved foster siblings at adoption events. However, the prospective adopter would still greatly benefit from a meet-and-greet session in their own home, as Tad remains a bit cautious around new people and environments. What Tad lacks in initial boldness, he more than makes up for in his loving, affectionate nature - he is absolutely smitten with his human caretakers and adores snuggling up next to them for endless cuddle sessions. Tad's gentle, eager-to-please temperament also extends to his canine companions, as he was deeply bonded with his littermates and continues to thrive when surrounded by his foster family. While not quite as high-energy as his housemate Gavin, Tad is still an intelligent, active pup who would truly flourish with access to a spacious yard and plenty of opportunities for exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures - perhaps even serving as a delightful boating buddy given his apparent fascination with water.
