About Chiron 'Kai'

THESE SHEPHERDS ARE WITH THEIR CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENT AND I TRY TO SAVE THEM BY FINDING GREAT HOMES FOR THEM BEFORE CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENTS TAKE THEM TO THE SHELTER OR TO BE EUTHANIZED! I AM TRYING TO SAVE THEM!!! PLEASE RESEARCH ALL ABOUT ME AND MY REHOMING SERVICE BEFORE YOU JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS. TY. URGENT [Case opened on 11/5/24]. LANCASTER, OHIO (WILL DRIVE TO YOU ANYWHERE IN OHIO+SURROUNDING STATES). 1 Y/O MALE FULLBLOOD GSD (DOB:10/20/23). His name is 'CHIRON' {PRONOUNCED KY-RON} ('KAI FOR SHORT). Background: Has had the same Shepherd Parent since he was 8 weeks old. UTD on shots WITH record. NOT Fixed (scheduled to be neutered on 12/17/24). UNKNOWN with kids. Good with dogs, BUT VERY LEASH REACTIVE. Good with cats. House trained. Crate trained. No known medical issues. HIGH ENERGY . Currently on BLUE BUFFALO PUPPY SENSITIVE STOMACH food. Weighs 65 lbs. Good with car rides. Loves: Kai loves Doggie Daycare- Walks- snuggles - chasing a ball - toys - belly rubs. Kai is extremely intelligent and knows Basic Commands. Great on a leash but very Reactive when he sees people and other dogs. He does have a Sensitive Stomach and will get diarrhea if he eats human food. Kai needs to be re homed because his Current Shepherd Parent is not Breed Experienced and does not know how to handle his extreme Reactive Behavior towards strangers and other dogs when he is on a leash. Kai is also very protective of his people and home and the Current Shepherd Parent is afraid of this behavior and fears that one day Kai might bite someone. She has no experience with this breed and she does not know how to work or train Kai. She loves Kai very much and is heartbroken over this, but feels this is the best/right decision. She did see a Trainer for Kai and the Trainer said that Kai does not respect her. The Current Shepherd Parent does not know how to earn his respect and is in over her head. She wants to find a great loving home who is Breed Experienced and active to be able to keep up with Chiron's High Energy. Kai will thrive best with someone who is loving, but firm, knows how to be the Gentle Alpha, home a lot with plenty of time to work with him and help him through his Reactiveness. Kai will be an AMAZING companion for the right person. You must be Breed Experienced to apply for Kai. Comes with: leash, collar, harness.
