We rescued our sweet Lulu 2 1/2 years ago from the SFPCA as a puppy (she came all the way from Fresno!) She currently lives in our San Francisco apartment with me, my husband and our 1 year-old. Lulu has a long list of amazing qualities as well as some behavior quirks that we have been working on with tons of training. She is extremely affectionate and literally melts when pet. While she loves fetch, she is also just as content to lay underneath your chair for hours. Lulu has a select group of dog friends and takes a little time to warm up to new people - however once that happens, she will welcome you into her circle forever. She is fiercly loyal and that is one of the reasons why writing this post is extra hard. We love our fur baby so much but Lulu is having a hard time adjusting to our walking toddler and has become very fearful of her. We have tried many tactics but we ultimately think Lulu would thrive and relax more in a home without young children. Our ideal dream would be a situation in which we could still help out/visit our sweet girl.
