About Enola

Bengal
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Herriman, UT *** DIVA Alert (only-child syndrome strikes again'|) *** Enola is a gorgeous, 2-year-old female Bengal who joined us at Bengal Rescue in early October. She is currently settled in with one of our amazing fosters, who understands the Bengal breed well. Enola previously lived in a very busy household which wasn't the right fit for Enola's needs. The family took her to a local shelter, who reached out to us to see if we could help. Rarely are we ever able to connect with prior owners; however we've been extremely blessed that the family reached out to us to help us learn more about her. They told us a lot - and in their own words they shared: 'She is a sweet cat and loved the female primary. We believe there was just too much going on in our home and she was over-stimulated/stressed. Between the other cats, me and our granddaughter along%A0with the fact we have an entire wall of our living room that is pretty much all glass (18ft) and our yard attracts all sorts of wildlife such as%A0birds, chipmunks and lizards,%A0there was a lot going on around her.' Our foster wants you to know that Enola has a very playful and independent spirit. She's an intriguing blend of curiosity and intelligence, always eager to explore new nooks and crannies. Enola is a ball of energy, ready to pounce on any toy that crosses her path. Yet, she also knows how to appreciate the quieter moments in life, often found lounging in a sunny window, soaking up the warmth. She dreams of a big cat tree she can scratch on, a perfect playground for her adventurous nature. Despite her energetic demeanor, Enola can be surprisingly mellow, a comforting presence in any home. With her unique blend of playfulness and tranquility, Enola is more than just a pet. She's a companion, a friend, a source of endless entertainment and comfort. Enola wants to be an only cat and would do fine with a cat-friendly dog provided they will give her space. She's a finicky eater and prefers dry food over wet. She rubs on everything and enjoys being petted but will quickly let you know when she's had enough. She's never been mean but will initially hiss and growl until she's comfortable with you. Enola is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and very healthy overall. She does not suffer from litter box avoidance issues.
