About Kobe

Kobe is 85lbs of handsome, sweet, kindness but don't get me wrong he has his moments. With an innate need to protect his family, he can be somewhat intimidating in certain situations. Kobe barks at strangers and has been aggressive towards some male dogs. He currently lives with our family that includes a 3 year old, a baby, and a 9 year old male Siberian Husky. Kobe has sometimes barked or growled at both adults and children who he is unfamiliar with that have entered our home. He is 18 months, recently neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on all of his shots. Kobe knows basic commands and is extremely smart. He could learn so much more with someone who is willing to work with a trainer. My family is heart broken that he will be moving to a new family because he is a really big sweetheart 95% of the time, but the aggressive behavior that he has rarely shown is still too much for us to be comfortable with small children and visitors in our home. We are looking to find him a loving owner that we know he will be happy with and taken care of. Ideally with parent(s) that can be present (we both are home with him throughout the day), and in a home that does not have other pets or children. He would benefit from more training or owners who have a lot of experience with the breed.
